Al-Haramain affairs department refutes
talks on the holy grave and Prophet's room
Makkah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 09,
1435, September 04, 2014, SPA -- Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mansouri, spokesman of
the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques (Al-Haramain) Affairs, today
refuted talks circulated about the prophet's room located inside the holy mosque
of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). The talk was originally based on a study conducted
by a private researcher, the spokesman said, adding that what was mentioned in
that study doesn't represent the view of the Presidency or the State, both
always keen to serve the two holy mosques and seek their honor and esteem
without turning detrimental to anything of the past.
In a statement, the spokesman said the view surfacing the media recently is the researcher's own view as any private research is customary treated.
The Presidency urges researchers and media not to enter into what might trigger evocation, sedition and chaos. Instead, it calls for wisdom, objectivity and authenticity, and refraining from exaggeration of matters, particularly those pertaining to the two holy mosques.
